Chris Jones and Lynne Kalloway are two longtime collaborators who finally decided to stop talking about the stories in their heads and start writing them down. Sisters of the Stone began the way the best things do — with a conversation that went too long and too deep, and neither of us wanted to stop. What started as a single character became a world. What started as a world became five books, an ancient mythology, and a town in West Virginia that feels more real to us every time we sit down to write.

We are drawn to stories where magic is not a shortcut but a responsibility. Where the romance is not easy but is absolutely worth it. Where the women at the center are funny and complicated and stronger than they know, and the men beside them were always meant to be there.

We write together across every chapter. Every character, every decision, every line belongs to both of us.
